  • Anti-ageing
  • Helps protect from environmental stressors

Forskolin is a natural substance that comes from the roots of the Indian Coleus plant, which is part of the mint family. It has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for its health benefits. Recently, forskolin has gained popularity in skincare because of its ability to boost important processes in skin cells.

Forskolin functions by elevating the levels of a molecule known as cAMP in the skin, which is essential for tissue repair. This increase enhances skin cell functionality, reduces inflammation, and improves blood circulation, all of which contribute to better skin regeneration, enhanced elasticity, and decreased collagen breakdown. As a result, these effects can diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting healthier-looking skin. Additionally, forskolin possesses robust antioxidant properties, allowing it to safeguard the skin against environmental stressors, including pollution and UV radiation.
