Superoxide Dismutase |
Superoxide dismutase is a potent antioxidant enzyme naturally present in the body, renowned for its anti-aging, protective, and healing properties. This makes it a vital ingredient for preventing and reversing skin damage. It also plays a crucial role in protecting cells from damage caused by oxidative stress. Oxidative stress occurs when there’s an imbalance between free radicals (unstable molecules) and the body’s ability to neutralise them. Free radicals can cause cellular damage, leading to premature ageing and skin conditions.
